Well to be fair, along with the openwater competition for constant weight, there were also static and dynamic apnea events held at the University of British Columbia pool which provided the competitors with the added advantage of the after-comp hot tub option.
William left BC with an easy first place in all three events and became thus Canadian Champion 2006.
