encounter in Kealakekua Bay, Hawaii
Hawaii, Big Island, September 4, 2006
It's another regular training day when William Winram
and US champion Deron Verbeck are joined by a curious
oceanic white tip female shark. Both freedivers love
and respect these creatures which are a vital necessity
for the well-being of the ocean's ecosystem.
They decide to immortalize this moment by taking photos,
not an easy task considering how fast the subject is
moving ! In the end, it's Deron who takes the nicest
shot of both the shark and William trying to photograph
her.
