This state of the art facility is complete with a 4-lane 50-meter training pool with underwater tracking cameras, a 25-meter pool with a moving floor (0-6 meters) and a 10-lane 50-meter pool with a depth of 3 meters. The latter is rumored to be the fastest pool in the world after Beijing&#8217;s Olympic swimming pool.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">It is in this precise location that <a href=\"http:\/\/www.immersion.nu\/?lang=en\" target=\"_blank\"><span style=\"color: #ffc125;\"><strong>Immersion Freedive Academy and Shop<\/strong><\/span><\/a>&#8216;s very own Pim Vermeulen and Susan Kluytmans decided to organize two events spread over one week-end.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">First on Saturday evening, a special event called <a href=\"http:\/\/www.immersion.nu\/dutchapneaopen\/articles.php5?articleid=16\" target=\"_blank\"><strong><span style=\"color: #ffc125;\">Dynamic No Fins National Record Relay<\/strong><\/span><\/a> took place in the high-tech 25-meter pool with the bottom set at 3 meters. Amidst eleven other competitors, William Winram claimed a new national and continental record in the finless discipline with a distance of 154 meters.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Second event of the week-end, the<a href=\"http:\/\/www.dutchapneaopen.com\/\" target=\"_blank\"><span style=\"color: #ffc125;\"><strong> 4th Dutch Apnea Open<\/strong><\/span><\/a> took place on Sunday. This very well-attended event (55 competitors) combined Static apnea in the morning and Dynamic in the afternoon. Winram sprinted to yet another personal best. A distance of 205 meters gained him a new continental and national record. It was also a new pool record for the longest dynamic ever performed in Tongelreep. Total points between Static and Dynamic apnea granted William third place overall.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Very well-organized events.
