World Oceans Day Stamps<\/span><\/p>\n

Monaco – June 8, 2013<\/strong><\/p>\n

At the occasion of World Oceans Day<\/span><\/strong><\/a>, a series of four stamps will be issued by the Monaco Stamp Issuing Office<\/span><\/strong><\/a> (OETP) in collaboration with the Oceanographic Museum of Monaco<\/span><\/strong><\/a>. <\/p>\n

In each of these stamps, freediver Pierre Frolla<\/span><\/strong><\/a> is diving with a different species of shark. The purpose is to show a peaceful interaction between man and the feared predator. Hence, it is hoped that these stamps will also aid to improve the image of this wrongly maligned predator. <\/p>\n
