Shark Fundraising Event in Montreal on Sat. June 1<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n <\/p>\n

At the occasion of the Canadian Premiere of the IMAX film Great White Shark 3D<\/span><\/strong><\/a>, a special shark conservation fundraising event will be taking place on June 1, 2013<\/strong>, at the Montreal Science Center, nestled in the Old Port of the city<\/a>.<\/p>\n

An all inclusive CAD 25$<\/strong> ticket will get you, all under one roof:<\/p>\n

1) Entry to the Saturday June 1, 2013 6:40pm showing of Great White Shark 3D<\/em><\/span><\/strong> (o.e.v) at the IMAX theater<\/p>\n

2) Entry to the Shark: Predator or Prey<\/em><\/span><\/strong> exhibit (available until mid-September, check opening hours here<\/strong><\/a>)<\/p>\n

3) Welcome drink followed by buffet dinner at the Bernard Lamarre Hall after the IMAX show (with an available bar for those who are really thirsty…). Slide show and Q&A with two of the freedivers who participated to the filming of the Great White Shark 3D: Fran\u00e7ois Leduc and William Winram<\/span><\/strong>. Signed film posters will be offered out, while quantities last.<\/p>\n

4) Free parking to those who will carpool<\/p>\n

5) Cash-only bar<\/p>\n

 
\nProceeds will go to the shark conservation programme of The Watermen Project<\/a><\/em><\/span><\/strong>, the non-profit organization founded by William Winram in January 2012. More information about this NPO here<\/a>.<\/p>\n
