The Watermen Project # 1
Durban coast, South Africa | February 19 – 28, 2012
Watermen William Winram and Fred Buyle were in South Africa, in Aliwal Shoal, to sample the DNA of several shark species. The sampling is done on a breath-hold and collected for Jessica Escobar-Porras of the University of KwaZulu-Natal. The study is ongoing and will be continued during the sardine run in May 2012.
