Announcing Great White Shark 3D IMAX Film
World premiere May 24, 2013 – Canadian premiere May 31, 2013
Prepare for a shark encounter of a lifetime… without having to get wet !
Indeed, Great White Shark 3D IMAX film will most likely be the closest thing to being in the water face to face with a great white shark.
Together with Fred Buyle, William Winram and François Leduc were fortunate to participate in the shooting in a portion of this film during an offshore expedition in Guadalupe, Mexico in November 2012.
Nearly forty years after the theatrical release of Stephen Spielberg’s film Jaws terrifying millions of viewers, the Stomp show creators and founders of Yes/No productions, Luke Cresswell and Steve McNicholas, pay a long overdue hommage to the great white shark.
As English actor and comedian Bill Nighy narrates “From the depths of the ocean … and the depths of prehistory…. comes the predator we love to fear…. but is it the monster we’ve imagined it to be?”
Well, you’ll just have to come and see for yourself in a theater with a screen seven-story high !
After Wild Ocean and The Last Reef, Great White Shark 3D is Luke Cresswell and Steve McNicholas’ third film which concludes the oceanic trilogy and brings nature’s greatest predator to Giant Screen 3D as never before.
The film is set to release in several US cities on Friday May 24 and will premiere in Canada on Friday May 31, 2013 at the Centre des Sciences IMAX theater in Montreal, Quebec.
